Tonight I Dined: Baba Yega

Baba Yega is such a cool space with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in the heart of the Montrose neighborhood in Houston. Thursday night is Vegetarian/Vegan night where everything on the veg and vegan menus (they are separate because they know the difference here!) is only $9. They have a collection of homey entrees, sandwiches and pastas. I had the Hippie Meatloaf crafted from quinoa and vegetables with sides of mashed potato and gravy, sautéed spinach and garlic, and grilled tomato. So good, so savory, so filling. Yes, yes, yes...I will definitely be back
